I purchased it directly from Don Hernan, renowned P'aqo Andean Pompmasayak (Indigenous Mountain Priest) from Chinchero, Peru - also known as Rainbow Town, owing to the heavy rainfall & prevelence of rainbows. You can see the connection to rainbows in the stunning colours of the cloth. Chinchero is renowed for it's master weavers who skillfully hand-loom these cloths. It has never been used & is looking for it's forever home.
